Our Story
Founded in 2009, still answering our own phones
TrueComfort Heating & Air started in 2009 with one van, one technician, and a simple idea: Twin Cities homeowners deserve an HVAC company that shows up on time, explains what’s actually wrong, and doesn’t pad the bill. Fifteen-plus years later, that’s still how we run every call, from a routine furnace tune-up in Richfield to an emergency AC repair in Woodbury on the hottest day of July.
We’ve grown into a full team of licensed technicians and installers, but we’ve stayed a Minneapolis-based, family-run business — not a franchise, not a private-equity roll-up. Every truck that pulls into your driveway is staffed by someone who lives in this metro, drives these same icy roads in January, and understands exactly what a Minnesota furnace has to survive. We’re licensed under Minnesota Mechanical Contractor License #TC004821 and fully insured on every job, whether it’s a $200 repair or a full system replacement.
Over the years we’ve expanded from furnace and AC repair into heat pumps, duct cleaning, smart thermostats, and indoor air quality systems — but the goal has never changed: keep Twin Cities families comfortable without the upsell pressure that gives this industry a bad name. NATE-certified and EPA 608 certified, Dana leads our diagnostic and repair calls across Minneapolis and the western suburbs.
Carlos Reyes
Installation Team Lead
Carlos manages every new furnace, AC, and heat pump installation, making sure each system is sized and sealed correctly the first time.
